Sully-Miller is doing its Part in Responsible Construction
Green Construction leads to LEED Silver & Gold in Downtown LA
Sully-Miller recently did both on-site and off-site (City of Los Angeles B-Permit) improvements for Howard S. Wright's LEED certified condominium projects in Downtown Los Angeles. The three projects; E11even, Luma and most recently, Evo, all have green constructions' highest recognition of LEED certification.
Sully-Miller construction crews contribution included Asphalt Paving; Stamped Asphalt Crosswalks, Cold Mill and Asphalt overlay, Alleyway Asphalt Construction; Curb & Gutter, colored concrete walkways with sandblast textured finish; brick pavers; New Storm Drainage system combining a series of Infiltration Trenches to accommodate and filter surface water-flow from the street. We installed Bike Racks, Newstand Enclosure; trash receptacles; tree wells, landscaping and irrigation, a concrete structure for building logo/name and granite entryway pavers.
Much of the work was specialty concrete, including stained concrete, a sandblast finish that exposed aggregates, colored concrete walkways with intricate sawcut pattern.
