Training Our Crews in Storm Water Pollution Prevention

Sully-Miller Contracting Co. is training its crews in Storm Water Pollution Prevention where the work is being done, on the streets. We know that due to the many tasks our construction crews do, periodic training is essential. Protecting our environment is important to everyone at Sully-Miller Contracting Co.

As with any interstate road construction project, there are site specific SWPPP requirements. For our Caltrans 710 Freeway Rehabilitation project we trained 9 employees on the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Best Management Practices (BMPs). The training took about 2 hours, but was well worth it. Participants were surprised how fast the interactive class took.  It was a great refresher in BMPs.
