Sully-Miller Contracting Company is committed to exploring improvements in technology that will enhance the production and efficiency of the materials we produce.
Warm-mix asphalt allows us to modify our manufacturing process by reducing the temperatures at which our material is mixed and placed on the roads we build. Reductions of 30 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit have been documented, and can radically reduce greenhouse gases and fuel consumption.
Research at the National Center for Asphalt Technology has shown that lowering the temperature at production can drastically reduce emissions, good for our employees and the environment alike.
