Equipment

Sully-Miller has nearly 1,000 pieces of manufacturing and construction equipment, including cars, pickups, asphalt paving equipment, motor graders, concrete pavers, asphalt rollers, bulldozers, and excavators. Nearly all of these pieces of equipment are maintained and/or repaired in-house by certified technicians at our shop located in Irwindale.

We manufacture asphalt paving material at six stationary asphalt plants and one mobile asphalt rubber plant. We have two asphalt recycling plants, located in Irwindale and South Gate, where we crush old pavement to be recycled in the manufacture of new asphalt.

We also mine our own aggregates at our sand and gravel pit in Irwindale with a twin 16 cubic yard bucket dredge. The mined materials are transported on conveyors approximately 2.5 miles and underneath three roads to our aggregate processing plant.
